Let’s go walkies!
Join us for a social walk with (or without) your dog!
Nick and Maddie created Paws ‘n’ Pals to combine their passion for people and love of nature (and of course, dogs!).
They’d be thrilled if you would join them as a way to meet new people, make lasting friendships, share stories, and pick up some new tips and tricks.
They’re never happier than when they are exploring the beautiful sights of South Wales and beyond, and they truly understand the health and wellbeing benefits of being outdoors with others.
Read more about why they decided to set up the group walks… it’s a lovely tale… or should that be tail?
How does it work?
1
Pick your walk
We have a range of walks to choose from, for example:
- Open groups
- Over 50s groups
- Puppies only (< 6 months)
- Senior Dogs (> 10 years)
- and more…
We also cater for different levels of fitness with our ‘easy’, ‘moderate’ and ‘difficult’ walks.
2
Book your tickets
Use the simple online booking page to get your tickets
Tickets are priced per dog and per person. This helps us limit the number of dogs per walk for safety.
The first adult is free (with at least one dog). You can add more dogs and as many pals as you like. Our walks are limited to 15 dogs, but we can take more pals each time. Children can attend but must be accompanied by at least one adult (18+).

Enjoy
Get your shoes on and grab the lead.
All dogs must be on lead to begin every walk. This is the best way to introduce dogs safely. Once we begin walking, you will be able to let your dog(s) off the lead (if you wish).
Some of our walks are ‘lead only’ walks. For the safety of all dogs (and their pals, please read our safety instructions before booking your walk.
Hear from our walkers…
Real words from others who’ve joined us.
“
It was great for Max to have the freedom to be off lead with other dogs without having to worry about reactions of other owners. Everyone was so friendly. That’s not what I’m used to at the park.
“
These walks get me out to socialise. When you have to walk the dog anyway, it’s a great way to kill two birds as they say. It’s the most social I’ve been in ages and I’ve met some lovely people.
“
I wanted to give me dog opportunities to socialise, but it really is hard to plan walks with friends. We all have such busy lives (or they don’t want their dogs to mingle). It’s great to be able to take her on walks with others who want to do the same thing. Keeping me fit too!

Something for everyone…
Leads Optional / Mandatory
Some of our walks require dogs to be on leads at all times. This is to help our nervous dogs socialise without anyone having to worry.
Open Groups / Specific Groups
Most of our walks will be open to anyone, but because we’re focussed on being safe and social, some walks will be for specific groups of people.
Levels of Difficulty / Terrain
The difficulty level and type of terrain will be indicated in the details about each walk so you can decide whether you think it’s the right one for you or your dog.
Different days / times to suit
Weekdays, weekends, mornings, afternoons and evenings… Nick and Maddie walk any time, every time… all the time! One guess who’s to blame for that!
